The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Morning stretch with Denise Austin

Goes to show you what kind of misinformed dip****s we have leading the mainstream endeavor to make america Un-fat.

    Good Job.

taken from an email forwarded to me.

If you've ever cruised the diet-supplement counter, chances are you're familiar with ephedrine. Until recently this ingredient was common in products promising to help you lose weight and curb hunger. It never proved to make good on those claims, and it was pulled from shelves after the herb was linked to heart palpitations and cardiac arrest, even in those with healthy hearts!
While the ban has helped, experts say too many people continue to take ephedrine tablets they bought before the ban or have since obtained illegally through the Internet! Don't be one of them! Please, check the labels and toss any ephedrine pills you may have hanging around the house.

As I've said before-I don't advocate any so-called weight-loss supplements. Such pills are expensive, misleading, and unproven. Stick to the tried and true recipe for weight loss-cutting calories and increasing your burn with exercise, instead. It's a confirmed winner!

    thanks Denise!

    Ephedrine is EVIL EVIL!!!

but wait....ephedrine is not an herb.......
Out of the night that covers me,Black as the Pit from pole to pole,I thank whatever gods may be for my unconquerable soul. In The fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance my head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears looms but the horror of the shade And yet the menace of the years finds, and shall find, me unafraid. It matters not how strait the gate how charged with punishments the scroll,I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.

essentially it is not necessary is his view.

Note also she confused ephedrine and the Ephedra Ban. Ephedrine is not banned.

i personally never noticed any effects that made it worth the money. it used to crack me up how on the bottle it would always say "best when used with low calorie diet and exercise". hell at that rate youre going to lose weight anyways, but the credit goes to the bottle of 30 dollar crap ya just bought.

i think i felt a bit energized the first couple days i took it, but after that it was same ol same ol, and no "accelerated weight loss". if it works for others so be it, doesnt do it for me.
