The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Out of the night that covers me,Black as the Pit from pole to pole,I thank whatever gods may be for my unconquerable soul. In The fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance my head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears looms but the horror of the shade And yet the menace of the years finds, and shall find, me unafraid. It matters not how strait the gate how charged with punishments the scroll,I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.

hahaha I saw that at big-boys.com the other day... Apparently it's a school in Korea, where corporal punishment is pretty damn common. The teacher is saying "What did you say? You think you're a gangster?"
I would love for one of my profs to hit me one day.

If a teacher attacked me I don't know if I would stay calm and sue the **** out of him, or beat his ass. Would be tough. But I don't act out in class.

Somethin like this happened in my school a few years back. Some gangster kid was getting smart with a teacher all year, the teacher finally got fed up with his **** and hooked him. The student didn't fight back and ended up suing, came too school next year in an escalade.

Worst execution of a combination ever!

Weak straight right, straight right, wild left hook that grazes, then far pulled back right hook that lands hard then overhand slap to top of spine.

But seriously, that's not very nice.

i am of korean descent and punishment like that in schools in asian culture is common. its not like here where everyone has so many rights its ridiculous...i mean i was born in missouri and im 16 so im a US Citizen, but cultures are so different. Not to sound condescending but Americans don't know how privileged they are sometimes with all the rights they have...and to u guys that seems so f***ed up but to them that is how they discipline...they don't have detentions and stuff like that...

"I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ our Lord!"

We have a lot of rights, but I don't see what's so ridiculous about it. Having rights is a good thing, no?

I think he's saying he's pissed off that people like Paris Hilton whine about not being able to bring her chiwawa into Sobey's meanwhile people half way across the world aren't even entitled to an opinion.

we do have way to many rights hell parents can't even spank their kids without cps going after them. A theif can break into someone elses house and cut himself on the glass he broke and sue the owner (true story). Cops can't even beat the suspects anymore when they need it. :evillaugh

it's ******ed how theifs can get away with so much crap.. my house was broken into and i knew the guy who did it some little punk.. i decided to let the cops handle it instead of goin to his house and just getting it back.. too bad cops can't do crap.. i told him i knew it was him he even called me up on the phone and said he will do it again.. sure enough he did but of course cops saying that i can get a felony if i try to even go to his house and handle the situation myself since the cops are already involved.. if this was a 3rd world country those crooks would've been toasted by now.. oh well..

I want to know what the series of grunts and clicks that they call words meant.

But I agree with PD - if you're going to hit a student, ****ing rail them.

Yup. Teachers don't get paid enough to put up with the crap they end up taking. But what happened in that clip was uncalled for.
Best way to cheat on deadlifts...

Stand there for a few minutes, then pace back and forth a lot, huff and puff, wait until everybody's looking. Approach the bar. Back off. Approach it again. Back off. Get some water. Chalk up. Approach the bar again. Then spray some more chalk around. Wait until people start losing interest. When nobody's looking, pick it a little off the floor, and slam it down. Jump up and yell "LIGHT WEIGHT BABY". Then give high fives all around. - Belial

Point taken, but it's not rights that we are spoiled with. It's a justice system that has poor regulation on abusing them.

All people should have the right to not have to worry about a teacher punching them, deserving or not.
