    Windows XP problem, Help please

My windows wont load up in normal mode. It only loads in Safe mode with Networking or Command Prompt. If i restart from safe mode it will go back to the black screen and say from what you watn to start windows from, safe mode, normal etc. I have no idea what to do. I was gonna just format it. Any thoughts or ideas would be apreciated.

I had a problem kinda like that, when I put it in another machine as a slave drive and did a check disk on it I found out the drive was going bad.

Start --> Programs --> Accessories -- . System tools --> System restores...take it back to an earlier date. This will only work if you haven't disabled this feature.

Your kidding right? These guys suck. He is better off just trying a restore, maybe a reinstall without formating. It may have been a critical update that messed thing up if he does not recall adding or changing anything.

I haven't had to call them myself, but I know a few people that have, and they were very pleased with the support.
