Hey guys, I have not posted on here in about 2 months. I just need some type of motovation to get back in the gym. I have been with out proper nutrition and workout routine for about 2 months. Being a freshmen in college has effected my time in going to gym. I just get too busy and tried. Since the first semester of college is over, I would like to get back into the swing of things. I starteds working of seriously in June 2004 and stopped in sep 2004. From all the working out and proper nutrition I gained like 6 lbs, went from 157 to 163 and Im 6ft tall. Is there anyway you guys can help me with this issue?
How about taking a look in the mirror? (I'm serious.)
That's what motivates me every day -- to look better than the guy looking back at me.
true!! I look about the same as i did when i stopped!! Have not lost to much muscle or size.
If you haven't been working ou for awhile, you're going to lose some strength. For me, losing strength is enough motivation to push myself further.

What they said...if you're really dedicated, then looking in the mirror each day should motivate you to get in the weightroom and stick to a routine.
Figure out where you can block out 3 or 4 gym time sessions for next semester....45-60 minutes each. Put together a good basic compound exercise routine, train to make small gains each session; don't train to get wasted energywise. You'll look better at the end of the next semester.

If worse comes to worse, take a weightlifting class if they offer it at your school. Then you HAVE to go to the gym at least 3 times a week to keep a decent grade.
Currently studying 20 hours a day with 2 hours for exercise and then 2 to sleep.

hire a man with a long wet towel to chase you to the gym three times a week.
Or just quit something you currently do in your daily routine, like watching TV or some other unnecessary activity.
I was a fat kid when I started lifting. My motivation comes from looking in the mirror and seeing that fat kid looking back, saying "The day you stop, you look like me again." That's all I need.
