The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

I really needed this. I have been in a slump for about a month. Sometimes we need to be slapped.

Serious question, Why do so many people on this site correct spelling? I can't spell I never could and will probably be bad at it the rest of my life. If you don't like sorry!

Nice read a bit long for my testosterone heavy eyes but never the less kinda funny. The truth sucks and we all train for what we have.

I had worked with a boss for 8 months and everyone was asking me about about training right in his face. One day he asks "do you go to the gym?" I smiled and said "why yes I do." What do you do... My big round ass and chest bursting out of my shirt was to subtle for him I guess, at least the ladies noticed.

He knew I was doing it all intentionally. I don't think he was truly trying to become a grammar nazi.

What an awesome article. I dig the whole 'put up or shut up' attitude.

Thanks for pointing that out...that's all I can look at now and it's annoying haha

I noticed it the first time I saw this thread a long time ago. It's been annoying for me a lot longer.

    It's that time of year.
Out of the night that covers me,Black as the Pit from pole to pole,I thank whatever gods may be for my unconquerable soul. In The fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance my head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears looms but the horror of the shade And yet the menace of the years finds, and shall find, me unafraid. It matters not how strait the gate how charged with punishments the scroll,I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.

i kno what this is like though
people come up to me all the time and ask me to give em a program or have me train them or for advice....
usually what i tell em is that the best program is ahrdwork...
and out of those kids only three of htem are actually lifting...
and only two of em are serious
You cant buy strength, but you sure as hell can work for it

Thank you for this. If you don't mind, I will be printing this and post it on my wall and re-read it once a week.
