    Question: Best position for Squats to Target the Glutes?

    Ok if im doing squats and i want to target the glutes to specifically get a "Squatters ass" how would i do this?

    should my feet be farther than shoulder width's apart?
    as close as possible?


    feet in front as possible or as back as possible?

    any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

    Sumo squats. Farther than shoulder's width apart, and normal squats.

    about 6" outside of shoulder width. Toes facing out slightly. And go low. Make sure the top of your quads are parallel with the floor.

    After about 6 months of this you'll get a squatters ass.

    And all of your boxers. LMAO, every pair of boxers I have that AREN'T designer boxers (ie. the ones you buy one at a time with special logo's on 'em) have MASSIVE rips in them from doing squats.

    I've also ripped a few pairs of lifting pants.

    Its expensive to have a big ass. LMAO!

    My girlfriend is now making fun of me for my big ass now. At least 4 pairs of pants don't fit anymore.

    I get comments on mine from girls at work, hehe. One actually told me that she wished she had my ass! Others just walk by and smack it all the time..

    And this at an office job. Sheesh!

    ok so to target the glutes your feet should be wider than shoulder width apart...should your feet be positioned more in front or more in back? or should it just be right in the middle

    no...im doin real squats i dont use the smith machine.
    i just wanted to know the position your feet should be at more in front or more in back or right in the middle?

    I think that problem should solve itself unless you have an abnormal centre of gravity.

    I see people go really, really low doing squats sometimes. This one guy almost touches the ground with his butt. I think that if you really want to target the glutes you have to go lower than parallel. I only go parallel most of the time, but when I do go lower, boy do I fell it in my glutes.

    haha, that's so true.

    However, the girls at my work are pretty hot, so I tend to poke back sometimes. I doubt they'll tell, but if they do I'm in trouble. Half the office is banging the other half of the office anyways...so what the hell is a little touchy feely? lmao

    I think its flattering too when they say/do **** to me. Who doesn't like attention?

    Support plus flexibility AND they show off ass and legs. I used to be a strictly boxers guy, but I've since seen the light and probably won't ever go back.

    I used to wear 'em, but my legs rub together and they chaffe too much. Thats why I switched to boxer briefs. I also wear these long underarmor underwear (not leggings, more like half leggings), and they never rub while I workout.

    Yeah, one day I was squatting and I went low for the last rep of the last set, so naturally I was very fatigued. On the way up I tore my boxers in half. The weight room was nearly empty, only the girls track team was in there adn EVERYONE heard them tare, that was quite funny.

    why would you want a fat ass? wouldn't that be uncomfortable? and if you do it to impress girls well most girls i known wouldn't like a huge ass like that. and what if my ass is already firm i don't want it to be any bigger then it is, that would be unpleasant.
