    2 or 3 day full body workouts

    I know some of you do full body workouts. I was just curious as to what your routine looks like. I want to see what the difference is between the 2. Also, how long does it take for you guys at the gym to do a full body workout

    deads (reg + sumo)
    pullups
    DB shoulder press or arnolds
    military press
    DB flat bench
    dips

    about 4-8 reps for about 3-5 sets each. i've tried doing 3 days a week at moderate/heavy intensity, and i felt overworked. so i do 2 days at high intensity and i day of real light weight recovery inbetween. workout usually takes 45min-1hr.

    what about legs?

    I just came across this article by Maki Raddington http://www.wannabebig.com/article.php?articleid=146 anyone try this routine for size? What were your results?

    Good lord people, my name is Maki "RIDDINGTON."

    A sample I've used in the past has looked like this.

    Mon: Squat, Flat Bench, Dips, Military Press, Bent Rows, Barbell Curl

    Wednesday: Front Squat, Incline Dumbbell Press, Cable Pressdowns, Incline Dumbbell Curl, Seated Dumbbell Shoulder Press, Chin Ups

    Fri: Deadlift, Incline Barbell Press, Seated Cable Rows, Close Grip Bench, Preacher Curls, Push Press

    Sorry about the name, I just realized I made a mistake Mr. RIDDINGTON. Is this an optimal routine for size or is it more centered for strength?

    It is centered around strength, but because you are hitting all the major muscle groups three times a week, hypertrophy of the muscle will occur.

    Is there a full body workout that would be centered around hypertrophy rather than strength? If I remember correctly, HST is one right? How effective is HST?

    I used Maki's 3 day per week full body routine during a bulk last winter (australia) with great results. lifts all went up and i put on around 10kg. it was the best results i've had for a good clean bulk. im now cutting and enjoying the muscle i've put on

    give it a try, it's an excellent routine.
