Hey guys, I got into an agruement with a friend over the weight of the EZ curl bar. I said it was 25 pounds, and he said it was 35. He's persistent that hes right, but it just feels much lighter than the 45 pound straight bar. whatta ya think?
I remember reading somewhere (can't remember now it was a long time ago) that stated that the average EZ-curl bar was around 22lbs, so you are correct.
it depends on the ez curl bar... find a scale and weigh it... problem solved I have 3 gyms here that have 3 different ez curl bars... a 15 lb a 25 lb and a 35 lb
somewhat what I eat...
A lot of them are actually 15.
Occasionally you'll find a 35 pound one, but they're rare. You'd know it. They're longer, flatter, usually black, and basically look like a normal Olympic bar that's been bent.

thanks guys I think I will weight it just to make sure
Just get on the scale with and without it and see how much it weighs. I have used some that are 15 and 25. Never seen a 35 pound bar.
