    Leg Curls Needed?

    What's up guys,

    Right now I do SLDL's on back day, 3 sets of 6-8 reps, and on Leg Day I do Squats, Calf raises (w/ olympic bar and my squat weight), Leg Extensions, and Leg Curls. I do all of those 3 sets of 6-8 reps also except for the calf raises. I do those for 4 sets of 12-15 reps.

    My questions is, do I really need Leg Curls in my routine?

    yes leg curls would be very u can see from my profile i have strained my lower back...and it can at least be partly attributed to weak hammys which i did not think were weak until i started workin them yes to leg curls on leg day...and btw im with them on moving sldl's to leg day also...

    Alright, guess I'll be keeping the leg curls.

    The reason why I have sldl's on back day is I only have two other back lifts and the sldl's help work the spinal erectors. That and it would seem like too much on leg day if I did them with all my other leg exercises. Maybe I will switch them over to leg day though and pick up another back lift. Right now I just do Pull Downs and DB Rows. I'd like to do pull ups but need to figure out some way to do them from home.

    If you want to work your hamstrings, deadlifts on back day and switching from SLDLs to good mornings on leg day will give you some great results.
