    1rm

Ok guys...Now I know that a plateau is 4 months of being stuck...but some advice here...My bench is at 205 1RM and I am trying to get that up...I can get 205 up not with ease but enough to encourage me to try 210 and well 210 I can't get it...any thing I can do to up my bench would be most helpful...

Change your routine up if you haven't lately. Check your form. Maybe try some DB presses in your routine, do something that will make you muscles adapt. And if you are trying to max every week stop. This will get you nowhere, get on a solid routine and stick with it.

:withstupi....if you are plateau-ed change up your workout...do somethings that you hadn't been doing in your routine before...try DB's to try and work the stabilizer muscles a little more...and andy is correct...don't max everyweek it won't get you anywhere...

Get an older, experianced lifter to check your form. A little difference can help alot.

switch the bench press with db press for awhile, that will build stronger stabilizer muscles and help in the future. also, build up your triceps some more, every little bit helps

NOTE: i was stuck at 220 BB bench and went to dbs. 2 months later I was BPing 245.

It varies far to much to give a guess.
You might fail with the 40's, you might get the 80's.
