If you do wear gloves, is there any effect on your grip or lifting? Just curious what you guys feel.

To Hell with'em. I prefer the feel of the cold steel in my hands. Also the pain is extra nice.

    Look at my join date.

I just haven't been picking through the forums here so I don't know whats been posted and what hasn't.

Everyone question by now is basically a repost.

Unless Chris or Paul asks me to stop, I'll continue...thank you very much.

Yeah after a year or two I've built up some serious callouses. I've tried gloves a few years back but I have small hands and it was hard to grip things. Chalk isn't in my gym so I don't use that.

The girlfriend doesn't enjoy the callouses on the hand.

I think its good to have the same questions answered frequently. If the whole purpose of a forum was to search instead of actually posting/asking questions you might as well skip it and head straight to google.

I use 'em because I don't want to ugly up my hands with callouses. I'm less manly because of it now.
