    Anyone here about my age...?

    I am 14 years old a freshman in highschool...I was wondering if anyone here was near my age and perhaps weight...and I was wondering what you squat and bench im just trying to compare myself to others my age...Thanks

    Your deads will be more than you squat more than likely. Those are real good numbers for a 14 year old. Im 17, i haven't gone real heavy yet so here are my numbers bench 125*5, squat 175*10(could do more), dead 200*8. 5'11.5 165LBS.

    I started training at about your age, here were my numbers each year

    Squat Bench DL Clean Overhead press
    14 110 90 165 85 75
    15 260 240 280 175 145
    16 330 300 335 220 185
    17 425 340 415 275 215

    impressive.... you gained 100 lbs on each lift practically every year...

    I'm 15 here are my lifts, Squat never maxed ive done 205x6 Bench havnet maxed in a while 185x6 deadlift ive been taking it easy on these ill give you an idea on monday when i do them again i weigh around 160 and am 5'6
    Started Weight - 130
    Current Weight - 171 as of 2\18\05 WOOHOO
    GOAL - 175-180

    Height - 5'6

    Keith, do you have really really short arms?
    Im asking because your squat to deadlift ratio is not common.
    Most times high squats(high poundage) means high squats(depth) but i know your an honest guy.

    well, my all time best in competition is 710/665, and that is not uncommon-in most contests the squats are much higher than the deadlifts

    for a 14 y ear old those lifts are insane kid, id say dont lift to hard for a few years thoguh because you can damage yourself before your done growing, ofcourse i started at 15 and im fine so ...... id really like to see a 14 year old kid squat 300lbs, i just dont believe it, yo ugoing parellel??

    hey man lookin good....just make sure like they said above that u don't go too heavy too early and damage your growth plates....im 16 and a junior in high school and my max bench is around 300, max squat around 405, max dead around 405, so your lookin well on your way to gettin up there in weight....

    Thanks guys...As for damageing myself...I figure I may have already might as well just press it out...I will get back to you on those deadlifts I tried them yesterday and im still walking around with somewhat a hunch...

    so your at 150 or 160? and when your doing deadlifts...make sure u start with lower weight and get the form down pat before you start loadin the weight on...deadlifts when done correctly are very beneficial but when done incorrectly could cause a multitude of problems and thats not cool...haha

    I just got up to 150...I was in gym class earlyer today...well Im in school right now...lol keyboarding class...but anyway I weighed myself in gym class...150 I was like **** yeah

    Yeah I see alot of guys come in and get all pissed because I am 14 years old and putting up 210 and they have these long arms and cant do it...
