Im wondering if most of you eat less cals on your days off from training. I am bulking right now and usually take in about 4, 000 to 4,200 cals on my wokout days, and about 3,500 to 3,700 on my off days. Is this a good strategy of bad idea? will i screw my recovery and or gains?The reason i started doin this was so that I wouldnt get too fat during this bulk.
I think most people keep their caloric intake the same, whether it a workout day or an off day

I keep everything the same except i take the workout shake off of my rest days.

I go for 5000 everyday. Your muscles are recooperating on rest days, so why wouldn't they need just as many nutrients?

i would definetly try to keep the caloric intake about the same on workout days as well as non-workout days...obviously it can fluctuate but i would keep it within ~500 cals...
