Hey guys. I've been lurking around these forums for about a year but never posted until now. I'm a little guy, I'm 20 years old, 6'0 and weigh about 140 and I've just recently started back lifting hard and eating right. I'm already showing postive results in gaining weight (which is what I want). My question is...someone told me it was important to drink alot of water if I was trying to gain weight. I've always been led to believe that drinking lots of water was important to losing weight. Whats the true answer here? Thanks guys
PS: Chris, how far out is atlarge from their weight gainer?

You'r body needs water to function properly. It's important in both and essential for keeping your liver in good shape.
Drinking water helps in flushing toxicants for the body. also will aid in retaining water. So yes to both.

You never know what you can do, until you try to do more than you can.
go to home depot and just buy the steel piping and the joints for 20 bucks.
This sounds like a good idea that I'd like to take part in and, not being very familiar with this kind of stuff (or good with my hands) I'd really apreciate a little more info. What specificly should I pick up? lol I know, I'm dumb.Originally Posted by ancom41
