When you get tired of cooking cottage cheese in recipes like pancakes,
casaroles and so on, try some easy cottage cheese dips sometime.
I like to eat them with low calorie crackers, celery sticks, or slices of cucumber.
My favorite is to cut large, thick slices of tomatoes, roast them slightly and put them on a dish.
Then I just spoon these dips on top of the tomatoes and pig out.
First an easy one..
1 container of cottage cheese.
1 packet of lipton onion soup mix
Mix these two together and let it sit for awhile
so the flavors mix in. Then eat.
2 cups cottage cheese.
1/2 tsp tobasco sauce.
1 1/2 tsp minced onion
1/2 tsp celery salt
2-3tbsp low fat mayo
A small amount of Lipton onion soup mix.
For extra protein I've also chopped up pre cooked shrimp and
added them as well.
There are tons of combinations for these quick cottage cheese dips.
Just use your imagination and enjoy.
