    Are you in Tune??

question...considering the lifestyle we lead...do you find yourself more intune with yourself, physically, and/or emotionally then your average person?

by talking with them....like i talk to my co-workers...and they have no clue about themselves or what makes them tick....

like example....my coworker just started up training again....and his calves are sore..and he wa slike..i trained them like 2 days ago, when i tried to explain DOMS to him.

or a friend of mine who was dog-tired and couldn't figure out why..nevermind she does cardio everyday for 45 minutes, and trains 4 times a week too, for an hour.

I think that is an impossible question to answer. How can we really tell how others are in this aspect. Everyone has different reactions to different stimulus and it still doesn't mean that they are more or less in touch with themselves.

I know who I am and what I am like but this is completely internal and what we show on the outside is rarely a true reflection. Everyone has different interpretations of others so externally you cannot judge. You can only judge yourself and then how do you compare yourself to others?

Like I said impossible question but interesting nonetheless. Unless I've completely misconstrued, just ignore me then.

i think if i look around in the school hall, definetely.
so many strange insecure kids around, overcompensating their low self esteems and complexes by wearing "badass" clothes and talking bigger than they are.

I`m neither real big or real strong and im not very cut,
but still lifting put me in place i think. At least I know I`m working to improve myself, in a fun way even.

Even if your not very big yet, i think working out helps you think about yourself in a positive way, which seems to be a problem for many people my age

just think of all the little 135 pound 18% kids out there who pose their sweaty smelly acne infested bodies in their bath room mirror every day, think its important what they see but dont do jack to change it or just dont try and find out how its done.

thinking of them, yes lifting has changed me mentally as well

    Yes.
    Squats work better than supplements.
"You know, if I thought like that, I'd never put more than one plate on the bar for anything, I'd never use bands or chains, I'd never squat to parallel or below, and I'd never let out the slightest grunt when I lift. At some point in your lifting career (assuming you're planning on getting reasonably strong and big), you're going to have to accept that most people think you are some kind of freak." -Sensei
