The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Arnold Classic Predictions

Who is your pick for the winner of the 2005 Arnold Classic?

Who I think will win: Gustavo Badell
Badell took 3rd at the Olympia, coming out of nowhere it would seem. Gustavo is saying he will be adding 9 pounds on to his Olympia form.

Who I would like to win: Art Atwood
Art is a monster however, Atwood was not even able to qualify for Olympia, and has suffered from a hamstring inury I believe. Chances of Art placing well at all is not so good, but I think the guy is bad ass and deserves a notable victory.

Here is the lineup for the 2005 Arnold Classic:
Troy Alves, Melvin Anthony, Art Atwood, Gustavo Badell, Darrem Charles, Chris Cormier, Mark Dugdale, Toney Freeman, Dexter Jackson, King Kamali, Victor Martinez, Lee Priest, Frank Roberson, Craig Titus and Idrise Ward-EL.

I believe Lee priest is going to bring something to the table. Gustavo is obviously the favorite. But I think Dexter will be taking it home if Lee Doesn't make good on his promises.

Under the bludgeonings of chance my head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears looms but the horror of the shade And yet the menace of the years finds, and shall find, me unafraid. Lee skipped the Olympia to focus on the Arnold.

That's better than I thought, but the fact remains he still hasn't won anything. Not like it's his fault, but he's just too damn short. The field would have to be exceptionally weak for him to ever win a contest imo.

I have to agree, he IS looking good right now. Those pics are quite impressive.

The thing is it's common knowledge in bbing that if you take 2 guys of equal size (in relation to their height) the taller guy will ALWAYS look better. Yeah, yeah, symmetry matters too, but unless we're talking Markus Ruhl then most pros are fairly symmetrical anyway so that becomes moot. He looks great, but I'm sure at least half of his competition does too...and they're all 4+ inches taller than him.

I wager he will be top 3.
Between Dexter geting raped,Gustavo coming out of nowhere and Lee taking time off to prepare. It's anybody's game.

If the 2 guys are equal height.....then noone is taller.

"Test all things; hold fast what is good.": 1 Thessalonians 5:21

"I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ our Lord!"

Yah, I did a double take on that post too. Equal height, yet taller will win. I'm going to assume he meant similar instead of equal.

He's saying if you compare their size in relation to their height- i.e., if they're the same size, and you compare their heights- the taller will prevail.

Tricky wording, but I'll.. please.. Vido if I'm wrong.
