    How do you get bigger (cut) by eating without getting sloppy?

    Ok so ive been liftin weights since September of 04
    ive made pretty good progress and i looked great when i didnt have my shirt on (i got pretty cut but still looked "skinny") when i did wear shirts that were a lil baggier, i looked small and skinny as hell (think tobey mcguire in spiderman when he takes offhis shirt he looked cut but with clothes on he looked scrawny)

    anyway so i took the advice of some pros on here and started eating more and upping my calories and im not eating junk either im eating stuff like lean chicken breast, broccoli, fruits, cottage cheese almonds etc.


    ok and now im noticing im getting thislayer of flab on my stomach when i sit down thati didnt hav before yea im getting bigger i.e. fatter !! i want to get bigger but i dont want to get bigthis way! how do u get big AND cut?? help i need some tips...

    don't eat as much.
    I'll bet 50 bucks your diet isn't as good as you think.

    i actually am really into nutrition
    if i dont eat that much i would b even more scrawny!

    thats why i need your guys help

    You have to eat to get bigger, and you can cut later you want one or the other to be skinny or to grow, I haven't seem my abs in awhile but it dosen't matter to me because whn I get above the weight I want I will cut and the will be back and I will be fuggin huge.
    Plus you haven't been lifting long read some stickys before you post.

    I agree completely. I haven't seen my abs since I went on my bulking cycle. I look at my body as a big ol' piece of limestone. Once I have the vision of what I'll look like without the layer of flab, I'll cut and be a "fuggin huge" sculpture.

    In fact, when I get back to the states, I'm going to cut. I've been on a bulking phase for the past 9 months and I need to switch it up to higher reps again and do cardio more. It'll be a good change, keeps the body guessing. (plus I can show my abs by summertime)
    Age: 24
    Ht: 5'11"
    Wt: 204lbs
    BF: ~14%

    Goals for 2005:
    Add thickness to back, forearms, chest.
    26" Thighs
    17" Arms
