    **** Cutting...lets Add Some Muscle..big Dawg Journey To Be A Beast

    All of the changes that have happened recently have caused me to refocus my goals.

    I want to add some muscle...i know that i have lost some during that extended period of time that i was cutting.

    I am not sure how long this experiment will last, as long as i dont gain too much fat, I will keep doing it.

    here is the first workout

    Had a KICKASS leg session

    here were the goals for this session

    1. saut press 300 pounds
    2. leg extension over 200
    3. standing calf raise over 400 pounds

    leg extension
    120 pounds 3x8
    165 pounds 3x6
    210 pounds 3x4 PR

    squat press
    180 pounds 3x8
    270 pounds 3x6 (rep pr here)
    300 pounds 1x6, 1x4 PR

    leg press
    150 pounds 3x10
    200 pounds 2x8

    lying leg curl
    70 pounds 2x8

    seated leg curl
    105 pounds 3x8
    135 pounds 2x8

    standing calf raise
    200 pounds 3x10
    300 pounds 1x10
    400 pounds 1x10 PR
    420 pounds 1x10 PR

    DOOD, I'm a little scared. RELEASE THE BEAST!

    Don't forget to keep close tabs on your diet. The cleaner the bulk, the less you'll have to cut later.

    Tomorrow is tricep, bicep and shoulder day also going to throw is some back work since the other day was pretty poor.


    Not sure about goals for this workout will think about it tonight and post it with the workout.

    Well i tried to do shoulders and arms today. my shoulder hits like a mother...everything i tried to do my right shoulder just aches and my wrist a little too. so i may ice the shoulder or something and try again later today or will just try cardio today and then hit the chest and back back on schedule sunday.

    I am sure it is nothing serious just a little achey

    Keep that diet in check, and cardio as well. The longer you keep the fat off = the longer you can bulk!

    operation bulk has officially started.

    I am eating one more cheat meal today...just to get it out of the system and then i am clean eating.


    went food shopping, stocked up on chicken, lean steak, natural peanut butter, bagels, some apples, celery. potatoes,


    here is what the diet will look like on a normal day

    meal 1
    1 cup oatmeal
    1/2 cup egg beaters
    1 bagel

    meal 2
    small piece of chicken
    apple and some natural pb

    meal 3
    6 oz chicken
    1 cup broccoli
    small baked potato

    meal 4
    can of tuna
    2 pieces celery
    natural pb

    meal 5
    pre workout shake
    2 scoops nitrean
    2 scoops gatorade

    meal 6
    post workout shake
    2 scoops nitrean
    2 scoops gatorade

    meal 7
    6 oz steak
    1 cup broccoli

    meal 8
    1 cup lowfat cottage cheese

    not sure what the calories work up to will check that tomorrow when i eat this way.

    Thanks to Jake for helping me set this up

    On non workout days i will remove the pre workout shake and just have the postworkout shake.

    today is chest and back...

    did a chest and back workout.

    goals for this workout were:

    1. deadlift 215
    2. chins with less then 50 assist
    3. other row over 200 pounds
    4. stack the pec deck machine

    deads
    45 pounds 2x8
    95 pounds 1x6
    135 pounds 1x4
    185 pounds 1
    215 1 PR

    pullups
    cg 52 pound assist 1x4
    46 pound assist 1x2 PR

    db flat bench press
    50 pounds 1x4
    * hurt my shoulder so stopped these

    chest press
    130 pounds 1x6
    190 pounds 2x6
    230 pounds 1 rep

    pec deck
    80 pounds 3x6
    120 pounds 2x6
    170 pounds 2x6
    220 pounds (stack) 1x4 PR

    rear delt row
    90 pounds 3x6
    150 pounds 2x6

    other row
    165 pounds 2x6
    225 pounds 1x4 PR

    wgpd
    120 pounds 3x6

    then did 10 minutes on the treadmill
    7 minutes at 2.4 speed 4% incline and 3 minutes at 2.4 speed 8.5 % incline

    BOOYAH!!!!!!!!!!!
