    look biiger-weigh less?

i havnt weighed myself in like a month, and a month ago i weighed 143. out of curiosity to see how much weight i gained, i weighed myself two days ago. for some magical reason i only weigh 135, and lost almost 10 pounds in a month. now i know i look stronger than i did a month ago, and i eat soooooo much more than i used to. My diet consisted of anything and everything and usually cheeseburgers off the dollar menu. My new diet is all protein all the time, with almost no sugar or fats (xcept good ones from nuts and fish). My question was, should i start eating lots of bread and stuff, cuz i dont eat alot of carbs nowadays; i know ladies go on higgh protein, low carb diets, is that why i am losing weight? I eat alllll day long, but am losing weight rather than gaining......

    Several possible reasons

    1. You lost fat and now the muscle def makes you look bigger
    2. Have you been using creatine? It's water storing capabilities will make you look bigger.

All I can think of for now.

    -2 PB sandwiches before lunch
    -can of tuna + yogurt
    -whey protein shake after workout
    -chicken or beef for supper

creatine cant be it, because its storing water that would make you a little heavier too, try eating a little bit more junk food thats what started me on gaining muscle.

Scales in gyms can be inaccurate from time to time. People pounding on them as they step up, not treating it right, and it constantly being used... at my gym at least. The one at my gym can vary about 5 to even sometimes 10 lbs from time to time.

    Carbs are your friend.

I thought you said you didn't eat carbs (btw, if you don't eat carbs then your body uses protien for the energy it should be getting from carbs instead of building more muscle).

Heres my example. I stopped lifting for about a year. I was eating a lot of fast food and at resturants. I weighed about 224-228 LBS. When I started lifting again I went from 228 to 196 Lbs. I looked a hell of a lot thicker. Now with the same diet and exercise program I weigh 224 LBS and pretty lean. So basically I lost a lot of fat dropping from 228 to 196 and then gained a bunch of muscle from 196 back to 224. And like BIGE54 said, scales in gyms are very inaccurate. We have two. One says 226 and the other says 218.
