I can pull more than I can push, weird???

My maximum chinup is 250lbs (body weight plus 70lbs), possibly more. Wheras my maximum bench press is only 225lbs. It seems to me that most people can push more than they can pull though.
    Is this unusual?

No, not weird. I, for one, would rather have a strong back than strong chest, but it's hard to make a direct comparison in strength levels. Lifters tend to push more than pull because they train that way.

its only weird if you are comparing yourself to the chest and bicep club.

If you compared yourself to rock climber this would be very normal.

For me. I am about the same when comparing a 1RM or a 10rm

    What do I like?

    Self confidence.

    A great smile.

Somebody smart who can make me laugh.

Men who smell good (not cologne, but soap and water, Downy in the rinse water, fresh laundry).

Nice big pipes, good broad back, pecs, shoulders. Big legs and glutes. Flat abs are sexy, but I'll put up with juicyness for some size.

If he can cook, well, I won't have to die to go to Heaven.

If you're benching 225 at 14 I'm not sure you really have to worry about that.

    Wow.... a match.

I'm huge, so yeah....I got confidence. LOL.....I'm actually humble (hence 'LittleJake')

    My smile is sweeeeeeeeeeeet.

I'm actually told quite frequently that I smell good.

My pics speak for themselves on the physical side. And the juiciness around the midsection is quickly fading.

Oh, and I can cook. I'm making beef stroganoff this weekend. My fav!

Well........ding ding ding.. we have a match!

    oh well, you're married. lol

Doesn't matter where you get your appetite - just as long as you eat at home.

And you're on the list for when I have my mid-life crisis, big guy...

Let's cut down on the flirty flirt, guyz

My back is stronger as well.... although I don't think it's fair to compare pullups to bench press. Maybe bench press to bb rows, deadlift to squat, etc.
