    Just Picked These Up Today

    Hey guys, what do you think of these waffles? I just got them today. Would it be ok to have 2 or 3 of these for breakfast with egg whites???

    They look pretty decent. Only thing is that even though they have "whole wheat flour," the first ingredient (after water) is enriched wheat flour, which is what white bread is made of. But they're not horrible...decent amount of fiber, little sugar. Kashi is pretty solid.

    Better of eating some scambled eggs.

    All kidding aside, they seem ok. It all depends on you goals. I'd say they'd make a decent bulking type breakfast. I'd chose something lighter if I was cutting (egg whites).

    Well I am cutting, but I don't see how badly it would hurt my diet just eating 2 of them with egg whites. It ain't like I"m putting butter and regular syrup on them.

    I think Max is saying its okay, but if you survive the cut without em, then do it. you'll probably see faster results with only the whites.

    i recommend eating 8-10 waffles and a shake to get the protien you need because 8 grams isnt enough you want more

    why are you guys being sarcastic? All a guy is trying to do is get input from how to eat his breakfast. If someone gives lame or repetitive advice, be more mature and ignore it; tell the inquirer the truth about what he's asking instead of pissing on the bad advice. It's not helping.

    As for my own advice, i stand by what i said earlier in the thread.

    There is no such thing as a bad post. Anything you post here will hopefully be taken with a grain of salt. Read several books on nutrition if you want to get the bigger picture. You can't learn everything from a forum thread on the internet.

    I got all excited when I saw these ....................................... then I saw the protein is coming from soy ................ and with my thyroid disease I'm supposed to avoid soy ........................ damn.................. back to oatmeal and the dream of quick healthy waffles ...................... damn..................think I'll have a cry now ...................
