I eat a lot of relatively healthy food. I would say--at least--probably 75 grams of protein. I don't eat that much fat either. Lots of wheat and things like that. I'm going to start doing slanted sit ups and see how that works.

My pecs and triceps are the most stubborn. I change my routine around all the time (at the longest every 2 weeks) and everything has pretty much been growing at the same rate since then.

worst is my delts. All I do is overhead presses and incline bench. But my delts suck.

Best is my back. Just real strong and grows easily. Deadlifts are a great exercise for back... including traps. And without straps you'll kill your forearms too. Add in some pullups on a different day and your forearms will start growing... And eat.

Deadlifts are a great excercise for lower back no?

I can't see how that would help my back thicken and widen out...thats my stubborn part other than my pipsqueek forearms.

It seems like its only those 2 parts i have problems with...I would also say my delts, but i dont work them out too often because of a shoulder injury. I would say that doing rear delt excercises brought out my delts more than pressing excercises...

My biggest problem isn't a particular bodypart (I'm a lean guy so every gain comes with a tonn of sweat- though arms and legs grow pretty well), but symmetry. I have some serious scoliosis (I will probably start a thread on this in the future if I don't find one through search) and my chest and shoulders are a pain to keep symmetrical.

I'll vote my right peck as my most stubborn body part.

    Oh, and calves, of course.

Remember, to get big, you have to get strong. The two are interconnected. Lift heavy, work hard, and size will come. Like night follows day. It works. Arnold

They work the whole back, not just the lower. They hit your traps especially hard if you do a forceful lockout at the top.

Ya know, ive never been in to deadlifting, but just recently started.

Can you hit me off with the perfect technique to do them? How is the safest, most effective way to do them? I mean, I think my technique is good, but I could be wrong.

Right now it's abs. When I was in my 20's, I ate like a horse (@7000 calories/day) and did no ab exercises whatsoever but had a 6 pack.

Now (age 33), I eat less (waaaay less), hit abs regularly and barely have a "4 pack"
Gotta burn more calories I guess.

Other stubborn parts? My chest is strong but not big. My Back is big but not strong. My legs were both big and strong until I snapped my ACL 4 months ago. Now I have 1 big leg and one chicken leg.

How could your forearms get stronger and stronger.. but not increase in size proportionately to your strength?

i guess my biceps, they don't lag in strength or anything, they just don't show as fast of results as the rest of my body...but my wrists are pretty damn weak. my biceps are too strong for my wrists so they hurt if i don't do my preachers curls carefully making sure not to use my wrists at all (realistically, hardly).

My most stubborn part is my back to some extent; pretty much the lat spread; even thought I do pull-ups; on the other hand thickness comes easily.

Use to have trouble w/ forearms; then used a wrist roller; open palm type; it's like opening a jar best way to explain it.Works every muscle from fingertips to elbows.

The following statement is taken from the website I got the pic:

Jar simulators are easy to make out of pvc pipe. Just cut to length and glue on end caps. The caps may not be necessary, if the pvc is very smooth. Drill two holes in the middle and insert rope. Several different sizes can be made for very little money. To take the shoulders out of the movement, support the pipe from a pull-up bar. Old belts work good for this. They are easy to find at the Goodwill. This method or slipping over a pipe, can be used to support wrist rollers.

    Bruh, I wish i knew...

They increase a little bit...but are always disproportionate to my biceps, and never gain any significant size.

If you read back, I made a few suggestions how to increase traps...

One thing I do is alternating dumbell shrugs...hold the dumbbell in each hand, shrug one side at a time, then both together...1,1,2...you will get a long range of motion when you do it one at a time, and it is a different feel all together...works very well.

And ofcourse upright rows, but with a strict focus on your traps at work...

and ofcourse standard shrugs, but these 2 should def be implemented in your workout.

I think my chest is my weakess area but also i'am around 14.8% body fat. If my body fat was lower it might look better. But I just hit chest harder then I hit anything else with compound exercises. It seems like it's starting to even out with everything else a little better now.
