The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Pre Workout Meal Confusion

I've been getting mixed information on pre workout meal when I'm on my cutting diet. I do my workouts first thing in the morning because of work my work schedule, if I did it when I got back home, I'd be lifting @ 10pm at night. Well, back to my question, I've heard people say that you want to work out on an empty stomach first thing in the morning because it will help burn fat, but I've heard people say that you need to have fuel to work out so food is needed. I have actually done it both ways, and don't seem to see a difference in my workouts. I feel about the same either way. Since I am trying to cut, would it be better not to eat anything before morning workout or eat something before? Also, what would be the best thing to eat when cutting during pre workout meal? Thanks for any help.

Always eat some carbs and some protein as well before working out in the moring.
You can only do cardio on an empty stomach... if you can of course

What kind of carbs would be the best on a cutting diet? Maybe some kind of fruit? Or I believed I have seen somebody referring to sweet potatoes, or maybe just cereal? Also as in the protein, would it be best to take whey protein shake (maybe I could mix something with carbs in a whey shake) or something as in eggs? I've tried using the search option to find out what was best, but had little results.. BTW, one more question, on my bulking diet, would I want the same thing or add some fat to my pre workout meal? Thanks

Sweet potatoes=ace and better than cereal..

Fruit would be a very good choice (preworkout).

A whey shake is ok but you could save it for postworkout and have some milk protein or some egg protein too.

If you were bulking u d have to eat bigger portions of carbs+protein preworkout but encore not fat
