Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Start jumping up and down...you are now experiencing ropeless-jump rope. Note how it is working the calf area. Everyone's skipped...not sure what yer lookin for...I'd say it's a split between running and biking...although you don't feel much work on the quads...just the calves...

Jumping rope develops foot speed, its not too useful for cardio or muscular strength development. Well, it sorta is, ok it will make you faster on your feet, like a boxers hands get faster with a speedbag, don't use it unless you want more footspeed and agility.

Ya nejar; I don't know where you heard it wasn't a good form of cardio.

But, go jump rope for 20 minutes and tell me if you don't need to put on a new shirt.

As part of my training we jump rope for 10-15 mins straight...yeah it's good cardio...a little bit tough on your knees sometimes...or at least at my weight it is...and yes it's good for footspeed as well...

You ever try to wear ankle weights or use a jump rope with weighted handles? Kills your forearms.

Yeah, i got a rope with a couple of lbs in each handle which really make a difference. Used to jump for 10 mins before a workout. Jumping rope for 10 mins equalls half an hour of running. Pretty efficient.

umm...careful with those ankle weights syntekz...you can mess up your joints but good using those and jumping around. a weighted vest would actually be a safer idea.

Jumping rope really gets your heart rate up there, but geez, it's boring! Good calf workout though...

That's my problem with all cardio exercises. They are so damn boring. And it doesn't help doing it with another person either, because you most likely won't be talking anyway.
