    question

Hey folks, how many total sets do you do in a weeks time? Going over my log book I see that I do between 80 and 90 total sets for my entire body, spread out over 4-5 workouts. My main reason I am asking this question has to do with CNS recovery time.

I do half of that, 40-45 working sets a week. Plus another 10 sets a week for ab work.

cronin50 I assume you want total working sets?

Around 70 sets over 4 days, plus abs.

Yes... but some people do a lot of warm-up sets, some don't. I do 1-2 warm-up sets at the beginning of my workout, the other 16-22 sets are work sets. Been training for 20+ years and never needed to warm up much. So I mean total sets, warm-ups included.

Not including warmup sets, 64 (over a 6 day period). I only do warmups on the first lift of the session, 2 warmups sets on arm day.

I do about 60 usually, not counting any situps. If I count situps and forearm rollups, I'd say 70-75 per week ove three different days.

    Then my 40-45 turns into 50-55 (mostly deads/squat warm-up)
