Shoulder Presses resulting in popping noises from shoulder..

Have any of you guys encounter this? This has been going on for quite sometime but I never really paid that much attention to it. Basically, whenever I start doing shoulder presses with a dumbell, on both of my shoulders (mainly left), I would hear a click/pop/snap sound. I would press the dumbell up and and SNAP..lower it..push up..SNAP...

My description sucks but I'm pretty sure some people would get what I'm trying to describe. What you guys recommend me to do? Is this a normal problem or should I go see a doctor about this?

    Thanks in advance

My shoulders do the same thing when DB pressing. I believe, more then anything, that it is just normal movements of the joints. As long as you aren't feeling pain in the area when it "snaps", then I wouldn't give it too much concern.

yeah definitely look into getting some medicine for your joints. just cause it doesn't hurt doesn't mean its not affecting you.

For sure, I'll definetly look into shark cartileage. I'll probably buy it and show it to my doctor and see if he recommends it.

Sounds like a rotator cuff...I would do some rotator cuff exersizes to strengthen/warm up the joint. You DON'T want to mess the rotator cuff up. You won't be able to lift for a long long time.
