    Jump Rope

    I am looking to buy a jump rope so i can start building up my calves and my endurance. Any suggestions of kinds? More importantly, what length should i get? (i am 5'9")

    well i'm not a jump rope expert, but i'm 5'7 1/2" and i think mine is 9 feet.

    Frankly i dont' think it matters though, because your arms will compensate for your height.

    I've always gone by the rule that the rope should come up to just below your armpits when standing on the rope.

    Yea i looked this up before, Greeper is right. Add one foot for each 6" in height. So i need a 12ft one. :-?

    Length Suitable For
    7 ft. up to 4'10"
    8 ft. 4'11"-5'3"
    9 ft. 5'4"-5'10"
    10 ft. 5'11"-6'6"
    11 ft. over 6'6"
    Start 7` @ 244lbs. (1/Sept/04) --> Bulked 7` @ 277lbs. (05/01/05)
    Most recent Jan 4th 2007 @ 122kilo(268lbs)
    Bf 14.3% as of 28th Oct 06.

    Bench 300/
    Dead 455/
    Squat 345/
