Guys, what bread is the healthiest to eat and has the lowest GI??
GI doesn't matter, don't worry about it. But to answer your question I would say what ever has the most about of whole grains.
Is whole wheat a good bread?
100% whole wheat... just check the ingredients... some thing to avoid:
enriched, bleached, high fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated oils...
basically make sure the first ingredient is whole wheat flour...
however try sprouted grain breads... they are far lower in gi and much healthier, and they are complete proteins.

Unless you are eating a whole loaf of bread I don't see how GI would affect you appetite wise.
But then I'm at the other end of the spectrum on a bulk where I want my appetite to not be suppressed.
