Hey been at it a year need alot of advice to hit my goal! **HELP**

Hey I appreciate everyone who is gonna help me on this.

ok my name is Brian Chrisman I live in Sarasota Florida and I am 24 years old.

    I am 6'6" 262 lbs.

I am not trying to get bulky but I would like to be more muscular and cut.

ok i have been lifting for about a year now and I really haven't seen much if any size (muscle size) Now I will be honest I have a gut and some man boobs (not to to big but nevertheless they exist) Everyone says you need to eat but I have eaten (in the past lol thats why I have the fat!) But what should I do to lose the fat and pack on muscle? What do I do to feed the muscle but lose the fat?

Anyway I will be glad to share anyother pertinate information feel free to ask.

my work is basically the brute strength workout in flex magazine not sure if anyone is familiar with but I all I am gaining is strength so I figured I would go with the strength workout for the 6 mnths of the program. Anyway I am know wondering about size that is why I have listed this post.

    Thanks Again

    your friend brian

when cutting you try to just maintain the strength you have... gaining is pretty tough when you're cutting. in one post i read, a guy said

either eat huge and bulk or eat small and cut, you can't do both. pick one and do it

So then would I really want to just cut until I lose the fat. and then eat huge to gain the size in muscularity and then cut again to tone it out?

    LOL sounds good on paper!

If i were you, i'd go on a cut until you lose your gut. Then you can always bulk and start building the muscle. It's very very hard to do both.

    The routine stays the same.

The part that changes is the diet, and you add in some strategic cardio.

There's a link in my sig to how I diet when I'm cutting. You could try to follow something similar if you like. I know quite a few people who diet similarly.
