Hello, I've been reading these forums for a while but just registered the other day. I've read a lot about cutting and bulking and I think I have started to get a better idea of how many calories I need etc etc...
My questions are: based on these pics (sorry for quality they are obviously with my cell phone in the bathroom and I couldn't get any back or leg shots lol) what is my estimated BF% and should I be cutting or bulking right now? I haven't really done any kind of scheduled diet plan as of yet and I was wondering which direction I should be going.
Little info...I'm 18, 5'7", about 155lbs(haven't weighed myself in a few weeks) and I've been going to the gym off and on for a while now but with not very much intensity.

Bulk until you're uncomfortable with yourself, then cut. Only you can decide what point that is.

Awesome, I was already on sort of a cut, hopefully when i get back home for the summer with a scale i'll be able to see a little better about how many calories I need. For now I guess the mirror will do hehe
Mirror > scale, always, bcause muscle is denser than fat, so scale might not budge but you can look completely different.
why bulk or cut. Why not maintain where you are slowly losing bodyfat and gaining muscle? I would recommend cutting, so you can get your bodyfat down to single digits before bulking

I would definitely say bulk, last year I went through the same thing, had summer coming up but wanted more size so I said f$#% it and just bulked, got to 210 and probably about 22% bf. Then around Nov I started to cut and have dropped down now to 180 with 9% bf, held some good lean muscle. You may look fat this summer with a shirt off but depending on your goals I would definitely bulk for now and shoot for leaning down next summer. Without using AS it's hard naturally unless you take it over a period of time.
