Could anyone recommend a good and informative health/fitness print magazine?
I used to pick up Muscle Media.. and still do the odd time. It's VERY heavy on the BFL program, but it still does have some good information.
Not sure what else to get... I have been disappointed in most mags, as they post routines for you, that you'd only use if your on some killer cycle (no offence to those who juice.. its all good)
Stay Down With The
Runnin' with the Hatchet.. like WHUT?!?
Powerlifting USA, Pure Power, MILO, PowerMag, and hell, even T-mag has some good stuff in it.
Vin Diesel has a fever.. and the only prescription is more cowbell.

assgrabbers are never subtile, they will grabb ass whereever they go,public or not, I know the type, because I am one. - Rock

heh -- My brother used to pick up Flex + Muscle & Fitness, but save for a select few issues (one on nutrition, and protein supplements etc.) and one of their College specials (both M&F) they seem to be junk, so I don't intend on getting those
I checked out the Men's Health website, but didn't find it terribly useful, but is the mag better than the site at all?
There aren't any.
There are some very good print mags that cover strength sports (the ones PMDL mentions), but no good general fitness mags.
You are far better off doing research on your own and asking specific questions.
Squats work better than supplements.
"You know, if I thought like that, I'd never put more than one plate on the bar for anything, I'd never use bands or chains, I'd never squat to parallel or below, and I'd never let out the slightest grunt when I lift. At some point in your lifting career (assuming you're planning on getting reasonably strong and big), you're going to have to accept that most people think you are some kind of freak." -Sensei
"You're wrong, and I have a completely irrelevant pubmed abstract that may or may not say so." - Belial
I has a blog.
I has a facebook.
IMO, Muscle Mag, Muscle & Fitness and Mens Health are generally pretty good magazines. Muscle & Fitness has improved over the past couple years to be geared more towards general fitness along with bodybuilding.
