    It sucks.

Of course, I haven't listened yet. But using advanced theorems such as:

Washed Up + from UK + drunk + whining voice + Bad haircut YIELDS crap.

Has shown time and again that it does indeed suck.

Bah, I'll listen to some of it if I get the chance and then justify my reasons for saying it sucks.

Oasis is pretty good for drunken karaoke. But that's it.

I've listened to it through once and a few songs on their own and Im not sure what I think of it. It's a different sound I'd say. I'll give it a bit more to see if it grows on me. As far as Oasis as a band goes, some of their earlier stuff is classic. The CDs Definitely Maybe, WTSMG? and Be Here Now all are great rock albums.

they had more than one album?

    *consults rhapsody yet again*

edit: rhapsody has everything up to 2002. I'm listening to the 2002 album. It sucked huge amounts of ass until track 4.

Their old stuff is classic. Wan't too keen on the "Hindu times" era. Only heard 'Lyla' so far and that's pretty much the same as the old stuff, though apparently the others are quite different? I'll hold my opinion til i've actually heard it all
I'm not moaning, i'm having an opinion.

For sure. They had some great CDs. I'll check out this album when I get the chance.

    Wow....these guys are still around!

Kinda off subject....anyone think the most recent song by Green Day (I think they suck too) sounds like an older Oasis song?

Could be...then again, it could just be Green Day singer's fake g@y accent too.

Okay this CD has definitely grown on me. I have to say stand out tracks are:

    5. The Importance of Being Idle
    8. Part of the Queue
    12. I can see it now

If you only download one song, grab Part of the Queue. Amazing song.

Being from the UK is just part of that equation.

I said nothing about whether or not good bands do come from there.

Yeah, subtract "from the UK" and you get Bon Jovi, which is Gyno's favorite band.

First off, Zepp had good haircuts. And they were by no means washed up.

But you're right - they are the MOST OVERRATED band of all time, aside form another UK bunch of punks - the Beatles.

What has nine arms and sucks?

They had good haircuts for 1985. And they were never popular as far as "Top 40" garbage goes. Many of their songs were not popular until years after they were released.

But you're right - they are the MOST OVERRATED band of all time

I'm curious as to your reasoning behind this. As far as popularity in their time, I would say they were the most underrated.

    In their time?

    Yes.

    Now?

    No. Not even close.
