The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Hatton beats Tszyu

    Hey all,

Did anyone watch Hatton beat Tszyu last night?

I stayed up to watch it, because although it was fought in England, it started at 2:00am so it could be shown in America.

Hatton did excellent. Whilst he turned it into a bit of a brawl, its obvious those were specific tactics not to give Tszyu any space to land big punches which we all know he is more than capable of.

Tsyyu pulled out after the 11th round, meaning Hatton won on a technical KO.

It was awesome to see the sportsman ship at the end also, it was a good night for boxing.

I really hope now Hatton can go to the U.S and beat some top fighters!

What did everyone else think of the fight?

I haven't seen Tszyu or Hatton fight in years. I'm very very familiar with both. Very impressive to hear that Hatton won.

I thought about staying up to watch it but didn't. Glad he won. Hopefully get to see the fight sometime soon.

I listened to it on the radio...seemed like an awesome fight. Hatton did really well and props to Tzyu for accepting defeat so gracefully.

People wonder why I call myself Mr. T. One dude asked, 'does the T stand for tough?' I said no. Another dude asked if the T stands for my last name, Tureaud. No it does not. The 'T' in Mr. T stands for tuna. T loves tuna.

You know the best thing about the fight is how the two interacted with each other afterwards.

Both spoke to the crowd from the ring and gave each other props. Tszyu admitted Ricky was the better fighter that day and said if he could do anything to help in the future, he only had to ask.

Sometimes boxing gets a lot of stick as a sport. I hope those that give it stick watched those moments. It was an awesome night for boxing.

Didn't wathc it sicne you have to pay for it here, but saw about 6 different news stories about it. I was dissapointed the Aussie lost but from shots i saw Tszyu was outclassed.
I also saw the clips of after the fight and was very impressed by how both fighters were at the end of it. Good to see Costa representing good sportsmanship and being gracious in defeat. Oh and he took it so well since this is his 2nd loss i think?

Boxing definitely doesn’t get the credit it deserves and not nearly enough coverage.

I wouldn't want to pay it either, but by the time they do show it for 'free' on Sky, you've pretty much seen the fight from various clips on the news, or at least the bits you want to see. Plus the edge/interest has gone by then. Either way, it SHOULD be free.

I live in canada and don't get showtime so I couldn't watch it. I picked hatton though most picked Zoo. I thought Hatton was going to prove Zoo's '97 loss wasn't a fluke but a style issue and he proved me right. props to hatton for the "fatton" shirt too. . oh ya a non-american fighting a non-american in another country, and they schedule the fight at 2 AM for american TV audiences
by the way guys tyson fight this weekend!! and my cable company ****ed up and had it listed for 4.99 on sunday, so I snapped that up. now it's listed at the 44.99 norm price... ripoff to watch a washed up champ coming off a ko loss fighting a complete bum... but for 4.99 i'll watch happily. thanks to whoever forgot that digit

Yeah, not impressed by that. Comes down, as always, to cold hard cash. Ok, it will raise his profile 'over there' but it's always ****ing money...
