Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Muscle Repair

Does anyone know about how many calories it takes for muscle to repair itself after a workout? (if any)

Well it depends on the muscle and how hard its been worked. Everyones different with levels or soreness and theres no magic formula to repairing your muscles. I would just eat plenty and stretch regularly.

Well Im on a cut right now, so eating plenty is out of the question. Im just curious as to an average perhaps...or if its even significant enought to count?

Othres might know more on that but I just get plenty of protein, water, and stretching in and the muscle heals in good time.

I think there have been studies stating that stretching doesnt really improve the healing process in any way...at least from what I understand/remember.

there's no way to answer the question.
    Squats work better than supplements.
"You know, if I thought like that, I'd never put more than one plate on the bar for anything, I'd never use bands or chains, I'd never squat to parallel or below, and I'd never let out the slightest grunt when I lift. At some point in your lifting career (assuming you're planning on getting reasonably strong and big), you're going to have to accept that most people think you are some kind of freak." -Sensei
"You're wrong, and I have a completely irrelevant pubmed abstract that may or may not say so." - Belial
