Right at the bottom of my squats ive been getting terrible knee pain. I plan on going to the doctor soon i just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem before.

I have slight pain when I warm up, after that it's all good.
My brother and I were brutal. I once chased him around the house with a spoon that I put on the burner. I burned that little pricks leg. -sharkall2003

Then I saw a little african boy sleeping, and I thought...that is little Okeke. he is tired from herding all the goats and the big goat got away today - Rock

Its right at the bottom every time. I always warm up plenty and loosen up my knee joints but it still happens.

What stance do you squat in? Close stance or Oly stance are probably the worst as far as knees go. You might try going wider, and have someone watch your form to make sure you don't bring your knees in. You should also push out to the sides on your feet throughout the squat. This will force your knees into the best position.

I also spent some time using a light band around my knees while doing speed squats. Forcing the band out during squats made me train my knees out during heavy sets.

Yea that works for me. Wider stance puts alot less stress on my knees.

Also how low are you going?

For some reason when I got ATF it puts less stress on my knees, parallel puts more stress. You might want to try experimenting with that also.
