What do you think of the following routine. I just finished a modified WBB1 routine and made good progress. 20kg on my squat and deadlift, 30kg on my flat bench. 40kg on my close grip bench press.

I put on a bit of fat and so I'm going to lose some weight and try to maintain my strength at its present level. I looked around for a basic 4 day split that incorporated both squats and deads on every workout but couldn't find anything so I made this up.

I'm going 2 minute rests between sets. I'm a natural lifter. Heavy and Light weeks alternating. Any comments modifications / deletions / additions that you would like to suggest. Thanks for input.

Monday - Back and Chest
Flat Dumbell Press 3 x 8
Chest Dips 3 x 8
Wide Grip Chins 3 x 6
Deadlift 3 x 8
Cable Row 3 x 8
45 Min Cardio 8 hours later


Tuesday - Legs
Squats 5 x 8
Leg Curls 3 x 8
Calve Raises 5 x 8
45 Min Cardio 8 hours later


Wed - Off
1.5 Hours Kickboxing


Thursday - Back and Shoulders
Deadlift 3 x 8
Lat Pulldowns 2 x 8
Standing Military Press 2 x 8
Seated Dumbell Press 2 x 8
Lateral Raise 2 x 8
Shrugs 3 x 8
45 Min Cardio 8 hours later


Friday - Squats + Arms
Barbell Curls 3 x 8
Close Grip Dumbell Press 3 x 8
Close Grip Pulldowns 3 x 8
