ive beenworking out for a year now doing heavy workouts everyday 5 days a 6 days a week...is this bad?
Also is doing a double session such as shoulders in the AM and legs in the Pm bad??
What exactly is your schedule? I mean, do you workout everything 5 or 6 times a week, or is one day legs, one day arms, etc? Give a little more info
yea usually one day is chest, one arms...etc.
I dunno about the double session...I wouldn't do it though.
As long as you arn't working out EVERY muscle group that many times a week then i don't see a problem. Once or twice a week for each muscle group is fine..
Double sessions may be alittle to much, but you can workout 5 days a week with full recovery... I do it.
I do upper body M W F and lower T TH. I work it out so that each muscle group has 48 hours between each training session, more then enough IMO.
monday - lower body
tuesday - upper body
thursday - lower body
friday - upper body
I wouldn't want to make wednesday another upper or lower body day...I'm good with this.
Well, I have ALOT more upper body lifts that I do compared to lower body, around 2.5x more. So I just hit the extra .5 ones as well as a little active rest.
what about doing doubles on monday wed and friday ??
Thats fine... If you dont do anything on Tuesdays and thursdays.
