The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Michelin determined that the original tires weren't safe. F1 rules don't allow tire substitutions that close to the race; and Michelin and the drivers asked them to make an exception in this case; Michelin wanted to replace the tires on the cars with ones made at a different plant with a different batch of rubber.

F1 said they wouldn't change the rules, the drivers had to race with the tires Michelin had determined to be unsafe.

The drivers said they didn't feel like dying.

The fans wanted to see more than 6 cars race.

F1 is likely dead in the US for at least a few more years after this fiasco.

I saw that on the news.. i can't believe only 6 cars raced. F1 has some screwed up rulez.. they should have done whatever was necessary to get all cars back on the track.

I agree; if it were one car that had the tire problem, F1 certainly shouldn't have bent the rules.

But when its 75% of the field........

I don't understand how F1 is so unpopular here....even though racing in general is boring to me, F1 is the most fun to watch..it makes NASCAR look like watching paint dry.

the cars turn so damn quick it's unbelievable, and they have cool graphics on TV where you can see the RPM and when the drivers switch gears
