    A few questions about bulking

    How much sugar is too much in a day?...my friends keep saying it is bad for your muscles, i even had one friend say it "deteriorates" them..

    lol..

    I get about 45 grams a day, no matter what, because ive been eating half a jar of peanut butter a day...
    Is that bad for me?

    Is eating half a jar of p-butter a day for calories a good idea?..

    Sugar just messes with your insulin levels. A 50/50 maltodextrin/dextrose mix is good in your post-wo shake. Stop eating so much peanut butter! Although it's calorie-dense, don't eat so much! And if it were natural peanut butter, it wouldn't have that much sugar. Regular peanut butter has trans fats in it. Not good.

    It only has 3 grams per serving, and my parents never make steak or cook that stuff, so is it THAT bad, i mean, this is like my only option..
    How bad will it mess me up?

    get a job, buy your own food and cook it. Don't use your parents as an excuse. Sure it only has 3 gms per serving but you're getting 45 grams a day which is almost equal to eating 1/4 c. of sugar.

    Im pretty small, im thinking i can still get bigger with just alot of protien for a little while, my friends have done it, then they get to a point where they have to have both i guess.

    Though it will come down to eating an excess of calories, carbs help immensely during a bulk. "Just a lot of protein" is only one part of the equation. You need to worry about overall calories as well.

    Exacltly.
    For someone like you who is having a hard time putting on muscle, dont worry about it. Especially 45 freakin grams a day, lol. EAT. Sugar does nothing but good things in regards to muscle gain.
    But start getting natty PB instead of normal, it tastes better and lacks trans fats.

    Whether it's creamy or chunky doesn't decide if it's natty or not. As far as I know, Great Value(which is wal-mart brand right?) doesn't make a Natty PB. Look for Smucker's Natural. The ingredients should be just Peanuts and possibly salt. There should be no added sugars, oils or preservatives.
