How fast is too fast when it comes to bulking?

Is there any rule as to how quickly you can bulk before you are gaining useless fat?

In the past month I have gained an average of just over 2lbs/week according to fit day. I have noticed almost no new fat and all my lifts are improving quickly. But I have heard that when you lose weight, fat first comes off of your organs (visceral fat loss I think it is called), so I was just wondering if fat gain worked the same way. Am I just gaining a lot of fat inside of me?

not sure about the organ fat point but i would go on how you look in the mirror. Bulk as fast or as slow as you want to until you cant stand having that much fat on your body then cut. People tend to bulk slower so they dont gain as much fat as it is inevitable really if your eating above maintanance.

If you gain much more than 1-2 lbs per week, you run the risk or putting on mostly fat.
