I have been in good cutting diet for 3-4 months or so. I have 6-7% fat nice looking abs . Although I have one problem. I have got a bit of water retention on my abs thing I did not have 2-3 years ago.I sweat a lot ,since a run a lot.My abs look extremely good but they can be better. . (The reason is because I had extreme diuretics for just a day and my abs were 200% better the next day. But I could not handle the diuretics).
Ok i lied. My diet is not that good if you go much deeper. I have done a research and I always thought that limiting sodium would mean much less water retention.
For 3-4 months or so my Sodium is no more than 50 mg a day. I dont use cans , never salt my food, nothing, And my food is always crystal clear. i am just a robot without taste. Doing a research i found that that having extremely low sodium and drink a hell lot of water ( i do drink 8 litres a day) , will lead to Aldosterone Hormone bad effects that retain water. My sodium like i said is extremely extremly low and my friends also wonder why. By having no sodium and drink lots of water your blood pressure decreases dangerously.(it thins blood). Thats why usually my veins are very low pressured .
I tried diuretics (dandelion and uri versa orsomething) for 2 days. I did not increase my sodium but stuck with 0. My abs got ripped immediately!BUT BUT my pressure was so so low that I could not feel my blood going through my hands and legs. And felt weak!! I also drank lots of water.
Then I tried another scenario. Reducing water intake and reducing diuretics. That also did not prove well since and felt weak and had muscle crumps and felt extremely dehydrated.
The new scenario I am going to follow tomorrow , and I hope it helps. Is having Large water intake , have a bit of sodium through my meals and add 2 pills of potassium. and no diuretics. (just the caffeine from the ECA)
The thing that bothers me is having low pressure from this ****. Whenever I increase my sodium accidentaly my pressure elevates and I feel energised and veins all over my body. Although all this time ithought that even a small amount of sodium will retain water. But Now i found out about Aldosterone. Low pressure leads to less glycogen storage , less energy ,well damn .
Because these two corelate. Low pressure leads to muscle soreness. When my pressure elevates I get glycogen restored and pumped at a nice level.
Do you think that adding some salt in my diet , having 2 piils of potassium , drinking lots of water again will help my muscle soreness ,low blodd pressure, and the small amount of water retention?

Wow didn't think anyone would put sodium that low, sodium isn't bad it actually has alot of benefits.
Holy hell, take in some sodium and drink tons of water, especially if you take diuretics.

Instead of avoiding the relatively healthy and certainly necessary mineral that sodium is, try avoiding crap like MSG, trans fats and such things.
Some people take avoiding sodium to weird extremes. Sodium isn't as evil as the general public make it out to be. Excessive amounts of sodium may prove to be a detriment to your health, but certainly not the moderate amount you may get from a relatively clean diet. I've seen people say they avoid chicken breasts due to their "high" sodium content. So ridiculous.
