The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Posted thoughts in my journals, which was copied over from my martial arts website discussion.

What did you expect? An easy walk? Everyone should have known this was coming and to be in top shape to train. I hate fighters with no heart. They aren't fighters.
He said he'll try now and there is no way he is quitting, good on him, his attitude changed a lot.

Chris Leben impressed me, drinks a lot then works damn hard in the morning next.

I like what Bobby Southworth said, if I remember it correctly, "I don't like to fight, I don't like to hurt people. I like to compete." Which perfectly describes me.

Looking forward to the next episode.

I really liked it. Chris was impressive. He was kind of prickish while drunk(well, who isn't), but really busted it the next day in training. Jason just needs to pack it up and go home now. He's too big of a pussy if he's already thinking about leaving. He'll probably be gone soon anyway. Diego is my favorite right now; he seems really into fighting and takes it seriously.

Agree a lot with pizDoff, Randy C. is tough dude. I read some bios on spike tv one of the fella's a ranked powerlifter (not sure which one). Chris is a jerk, but he cleaned up and became more respectable. Notice he didn't mess with Diego? when he took his pillow back. Oh what about dudes forearm? #%A

I went to school with and know Diego Sanchez. He is an undefeated middleweight and I think he does pretty well in the show.

I can't wait to see Chris Leben get his ass kicked. The jackass has got balls and determination, but theres nothin upstairs.

Thacker is one sad sack of sh-t, he shouldn't even be there.

I want to see Diego and Chris go at it in an elimination fight.

I want to see more training and more fighting next week and alot less of Chris running his mouth.

    SPOILERS#########

    Thacker got booted, not surprised.

Leben got lucky, but he should be gone; since he violated his contract to appear on the show, by leaving the premises. Didn't like his comment regarding Canada and his questioning of our lack of fighters. I hope Mike beat his ass to avenge his loss.

Missed last night's episode, I saw last week's where that guy got drunk & made an a$$ out of himself. Thew show seems decent compared to most crappy reality tv shows.

Apparently Monday's show was crappy, according to a website full of martial artists.
Not sure if I even want to try catching the rerun

The only episode I've managed to catch is where the black dude tries to lose 20lbs in 24 hours or something stupid. Then he fights the white guy (who sounds like a giant ****ing baby) and knocks him out. Except, he didn't really knock him out and the fight was stopped. There was also a part where the black guy fell and the white dude went to kick him and got a warning. I thought UFC was no rules? WTF is this ****?

Welcome to now. UFC 1 was cool like that, but it's not NHB anymore.

The no rules barred fights is most likely Pride. I saw some of their fights, I believe stomping, knees and kicks to the heads are allowed.

Go to their respective websites if you still think it is no rules,no holds barred.

That would be the third episode.

UFC does not allow kicks to the head of a downed fighter. With that information I'm sure you can draw your conclusion as to stomps.

That kick to the face was HILARIOUS though, so funny!
    Fourth one tonight!
