i'm working on a pretty intense cut and i think it's starting to wear on me mentally
or maybe it's just my job

Excokehead, I get occasional headaches while cutting, but my mood is generally pretty good. But then again you're probably cutting your carbs back more than me. I never let my carbs go below 30% of my calories and maybe you're cutting your carbs too much. Just a theory though.
Ryuage, the P+C / P+F separation is what I've been using and it seems to work pretty good. But if you're a hard-gainer (I'm definitely not), you could probably get away with P+C+F.
Yeah, I'm pretty pissed right now. Carbs around 30%. Maybe I need to space my meals out better.

Yeah I'm grumpier than usual. I'm cutting too. I'm not really sure that they'd be related though.

I get mood swings here and there as well.....i just counteract them by looking in the mirror.

have you tried increasing percentage of fats?
can help regulate mood to some degree.
I'm pretty cranky on cuts. I'm cranky on bulks too, but much less so. I'm even crankier when I cycle carbs.
