In the interest of journal activity, I'll ask you to describe a "shoulder dislocate."

So far, it sounds painful and unfun...

Good point, I don't know what they are either. However, I do know a few funky shoulder exercises that I just don't know the exact name for.

    ATF Back Squat
    140 x 5
    160 x 5
    200 x 5
    200 x 5
    200 x 5 ---- 4500
Comments: A strange pop emanated from my left hip socket during the first work set. It didn't hurt, it just felt "funny" and I was able to finish all my sets without any problems. It's a bit uncomfortable now, though that particular spot has been bothering me for a few weeks now. Let's see how it feels tomorrow. I don't think it's a real injury, just one of those things that I'll have to work around.

    BB Flat Bench
    65 x 10
    85 x 10
    105 x 10
    125 x 8
    Comments: pathetic

    DB Flat Bench
    35 x 10
    45 x 10
    55 x 6
    Comments: weak

    BB Row
    135 x 10
    135 x 10
    135 x 10
    Comments: nada

Diet fine, sleep fine. Have been taking the fish oil caps and there seems to be a difference in how I feel. Less "achey". If the effect is real and cumulative then I should feel like superman in just a few short weeks.

I've been irregular with the creatine and have not been doing the push-ups. Which reminds me, pressing strength was heinous tonight. Struggled to get 125 x 8!

Squats were fine, depsite the injury. I feel good mentally. Next week is a PR week and I'm 110% certain I'll get all my sets no problem. I feel pretty good and am ready to step it up a notch.

Coke: There hasn't been any bike work posted in your journal for a while now!

mrelwooddowd, MM: This describes dislocates: http://www.intensemuscle.com/showthread.php?t=6997

    this describes windmills:
    http://jva.ontariostrongman.ca/WINDMILLS.htm

both exercises have been highly recommended by alot of experienced people to help promote and maintain healthy shoulders.

Yeah bro, that is true - I mainly biked for warmups but I need some cardio in the mix too.
Chill out though Rex, the workout was cool -

    Goodmornings
    115 x 10
    135 x 10
    155 x 10
    175 x 7
    195 x 6
Comments: The "pop" while squatting on Saturday was a mildly serious groin pull, and squatting to the bottom position still hurts. So I was forced to sub in these here Goodmornings for todays planned front squats and I'll probably hold off from back squatting on Saturday all together. It really sucks, cause I'm ready to go and about to start setting some PRs.

On the other hand, I haven't done any GM's since January and was able to handle this weight fairly easily. The last two sets were tough. If I was to work this movement hard I'd be able to put up respectable numbers very quickly. I have no interest. It seams like ego to me.

    Standing OH Press
    w/u: 45, 65, 85 x 10
    110 x 5
    115 x 5
    125 x 4
    125 x 4 ---- 2190
Comments: Purposely kept the reps to five on the first two sets in order to make a run at 125 x 5... missed that ****. Twice. After rep four the bar was resting on my collar bone. It was heavy and I was huffing and puffing. Finally I screamed, "Come on now! Don't be a ****ing pussy!" made a funny face and pressed it. The bar passes over my head but I can't lock it out and end up catching it behind my neck. I'll get it next time.

    Chin-ups
    BW x 3 (2" bar)
    BW x 3 (2" bar)
    BW x 2 (2" bar)
    BW x 6 (neutral grip)
    BW x 9
Comments: I found a two inch pvc pipe while cleaning out my basement and decided to try something a little different. I'm going to keep doing them until I can get a set of ten. The pipe is no joke, I just couldn't hold on! The last two sets were just for a pump (gay).

    Total Work: 6158

Diet ok, sleep ok. Bodyweight is a mint 158 or so. Abs are starting to show. I tried to post pictures the other day but I couldn't get them down to the proper size. No big deal.

Pissed about not being able to squat, I hope this groin pull heals soon. I think I'm going to resume squatting by next Tuesday even if the pain persists.

Obviously back to training heavy. And to all you ****ing noobs reading this ****, if you were expecting big training:

    SIKE

Coke: yeah man, that bike work is a good idea. I'm trying to reorganize and find the room for an exercise bike.

    mrelwooddowd: lol 215 x 6 is a nice set. For a pussy.

215 x 7 or bust!!! But not until I hit my wall with the five reppers. I'm hopping to get 235 x 5 sooner rather than later.

    BB Flat Bench
    w/up: 65, 85, 105, 125
    130 x 5 x 5 ---- 3250
Comments: I'm gonna do a straight up 5 x 5 on the flat bench. Started @ 130, or 81% of my max. The last rep of the last set was tough, but otherwise things went smoothly. I have a feeling I started a little to high, 70 or 75% might have been wiser. We'll see what happens over the next few weeks.

    DB Flat Bench
    35 x 10
    45 x 10
    55 x 7
    55 x 5 ---- 660
Comments: I can't press my way out of a wet paper bag. Gonna stick with the DB's cause they gansta and that's just how I do.

    Chin-ups
    BW x 9
    BW x 8
    BW x 7
    BW x 5 ---- 29
Comments: Subbed these in for BB Rows because tonight, unlike like most nights where I'm dangerously hardcore, I feared greatness.

    Total Work: 3939

Diet poor, sleep ok. Cals are way down yet my body refuses to give up any fat. Let thine abs shine forth!

Boy, what a ****ty session. I almost ashamed to post it. I got to get my ****ing act together. There's nothing big about tonights training.

    MM: danke my nizzle.

    Coke: thanks brah!

mrelwooddowd: that's not all that "blows your ass" hahahaheh he

    he

Comments: Not bad. I'm going to repeat the 135 x 5 x 5 on saturday and then go for 140 next week.

    DB Flat Bench
    35 x 10

    BW x 3 (2" bar)
    BW x 2 (2" bar)
    BW x 7
Comments: there's alot of room for improvement with these and that's exciting.

    Pull-ups
    BW x 6
    BW x 6
Comments: haven't done them in a while. They are good.

    Total Work: 3939

Diet ****, sleep ok. Bodyweight is down to 156/157. Waist measurement is at 32 inches. Finally. Another inch to go and then I can start getting big again. GFH baby.

Skipped last saturdays session and never made it up. That's ok. Groin pull still isn't hundred percent but it's healing. Then I'll resume squatting. Going to do GMs again. That'll be tomorrows session.

Had some very bad luck today while I was in Postosa, the local Italian meat place. I'm inside, paying for my food when some guy comes into the store asking if anyone drives the grey civic. I'm like, yeah, that's me. And I knew already what was next. He's like someone hit your car man.

So I run out of the store and this lady in some kind of Hyundai SUV just backed right into my parked 2005 civic (13500 miles). The ****ing car was parked and she backed into. Smashed up the rear end pretty bad. I had just gotten back from the car wash. lol.

I haven't even logged into this site in a few days. All of sudden I feel like I'm out of the WBB loop.

This session posted is alright. Didn't really feel like liftin last night but I did the damn thing anyway. IMO those sessions are the best. Nothing really impressive going on to the outsider, but I know what's what.

Coke: Thanks for the good word bro. Always appreciated.

    Standing OH Press

    125 x 6
    125 x 6
    125 x 5 ---- 2125
Comments: Warm-up felt heavy so I thought my work sets were going to be a wash out. And that's why I started off with 125. Somehow I managed to set a bunch of PR's and hit my OH Press goal for the year (125 x 5) about five months early.

    Chin-ups
    BW x 4 (2" bar)
    BW x 3 (2" bar)
    BW x 3 (2" bar)
Comments: Solid improvement. This is not fatiguing at all. I just can't hold onto the bar. Deep down I hope this will make my hands bigger. Allow me my illusions, please.

    Total Work: 6440

Diet good, sleep good. Bodyweight is down to like 156 and guess what? Not only am I weak, but I'm also skinny. Actually, I'm shapely. I'm by no means big but I probably look "buff" to the average person. Or at least that's what my mom tells me.

So I hit my OH Press goal tonight. Way early too. On the other hand I'm behind on the rest of my goals. I'm going to start deadlifting again within the next two or three weeks.

MM: It really is. I'd log in three, four maybe five times a day. To go from that to nothing... It's like withdrawal.

Coke: lol I know! The car was ****ing parked! Just bad luck. I didn't get mad at the lady, she was all upset. She fairly young, in her mid 30's and she was also attractive. I told her, "don't worry, accidents happen. that's what insurance is for." But you know what I was thinking right? Straight out of some porn ****. lol

That's a good weight range for agility and what not for certain things, so find yourself lucky in that aspect, lol -

Fine mindset for handling the vehicle matter bro, the GM's and all are looking nice.

Comments: My initial plan was to stick with 135 but **** it; fortune favors the bold. So I went for 140 x 5 x 5. I couldn't get the last rep of the last set. I'm going to try again next week, I think I'll get it. Frankly, even though I didn't get the 5 x 5, I feel good about tonights pressing.

    65 x 10
    65 x 10 ---- 1300
Comments: These were very easy. I like very easy. I forgot what a good movement DB Rows are, I haven't done them in a long time. Maybe once in the past 10 months. I'm going to do these instead of the BB Rows, adding five pounds each week until I'm making big training.

    Chin-ups
    BW x 4 (2" bar)
    BW x 3 (2" bar)
    BW x 3 (2" bar)
    BW x 2 (2" bar)
Comments: Hands just slip right off the bar!

    Total Work: 5100

Diet fine, sleep fine. Bodyweight is at a frisky 156. Waist measures 32 inches. Dieting until it's down to 31. I really do not want to fall below 155... geez.

Session was good tonight. Looking forward to seeing where I'm at with the OH Press come next week. I'll probably DL too. Going to skip squats until this pulled muscle is 100%.

lol .. agility!??!? You're the man Coke.. and me, I'm skinny! I can fit through the smallest spaces. For instance, if I park my car too close to another car in the parking lot... it's not a problem, I'm very agile. lol you're the best bro.
