what's wrong here? Groin pull? what to do?

    Hey all,

for awhile now (@ 3 weeks), I've been experiencing pain in my lower abs, like right above my pubic bone and also in my adductor muscles all on the right side. It hurts the most when i go to squeeze my legs together and at the top of the ROM when pulling my knees to my chest while laying down.

I'm fairly certain it's a groin pull, from my searches here... but i'm not totally sure. (I know, 'go see a doctor')

Is there a prescribed method to expediate healing?

    thanks in advance,

like what sort of time frame am I looking at here? I normally heal from this sort of thing, with jiu jitsu, in a little longer than a week... it's been over twice that long.

It took me about 2 months before all the pain was gone.

You have to be very careful, cause it could be a hernia, or even the small start of a hernia (some start as small as a pencil tip) and heavy lifting could make it much worse. A month in bed and twice as long not being able to lift anything more than 25 pounds after hernia surgury would really slow down any progress... get it checked.
