The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Critique My Routine Please!

Ladies and gentlemen, this is my routine that I've been putting together, I would greatly appreciate any input as to what I can do to make it better. I've previously been on WBB routines 1 & 2 for a total of 11 months, and now am looking to customize my own. For this routine I am planning on going five days a week. [Editted post Soba and Built's suggestions 7/12]

    Day 1:
Flat BB Bench Press - 3x8
Low Incline db Bench Press - 2x8
    Dips - 3x8
    Assisted Pull Up - 3x8
    Deadlift - 3x8
    Shrugs - 2x8

    Day 2:
    Squats - 3x8
Straight Legged Dead Lifts - 3x8
    Leg Curls - 2x8
    Standing Calf Raise - 3x8

    Day 3:
Seated BB Military Press - 3x8
    Posterior Delt Raise - 2x8
    Lateral Delt Fly - 2x8
Close Grip Bench Press - 3x8
    French Press - 2x8
    BB Bicep Curl - 2x8
    db Hammer Curls - 2x8

So there it is! Is the split good? I wasn't completely sure it was divided up properly. The schedule is usually Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Rest Day, Repeat. Comments and critiques are welcome, thanks yall!

drop the cable fly and one of the rear delt movements. Move the rear delt stuff to shoulder day. drop the anterior delt raise.

a bit too much volume there for leg day. I would drop leg press and leg extensions.

looks like a variation of WBB #1. no rest in between might be too much to handle. good luck with it.
me: so this is the "pump" you speak of
me: I could never figure out what people were talking about

Soba: Thanks for the input! It def is a variation of the WBB routines. After spending a year on WBB 1 and 2, I felt ready to start personalizing my routine. All your suggestions shall be taken to heart.

Not because I question what you're talking about, but just because I wanna learn, why drop the cable flies, and why drop both the leg press AND extension? Thanks!

Just a comment with respect to the volume. I do a very similiar routine, 3 on/1off/ repeat. It might be too high on day 1, well for me it would, but I am cutting, so that is something to consider.

Also at first you might be REALLY sore doing this routine, just stick it out and after a few weeks you will settle into it. The change from once a week to 3on/1off is a rough transition. Anyways goodluck!

Dedicated: Thanks for the heads up! I def think I'm up for the 3on/1off

Built: On the routine as it is so far, the deads are on a different day than the leg curls. Do you mean you think that I should put more space (in days) between them?

Thanks for the continuous input everyone!
