Does anyone know a more better way to get your max heart rate than that cheesy 220 - age crud? Like something I can do at home without having to hire a team of proffesionals. I used that formula and got my target heart rate zone (70% max) and when I trained at my target heart rate zone, I was having to jog slower than all hell. This can't be right. I can't even do my fave cardio exercise of jump rope, cus it by far exceeds my supposed target zone. Anyone else have this cunundrum? Any help / advice very appreciated, thank you.
