The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Getting Advice on Routines

I know I'm not an administrator here or anything even close to that but I think the people who run this site should consider making a "Critique My Routine" forum. I'm sorry but this forum just seems to be crawling with these types of threads and I'd rather have those threads separated into another forum and if I want to critique routines I'll go in there.

What are everyone else's thoughts on that idea? I know someone will probably tell me that if I don't want to read the threads that I shouldn't click on them but a) they're not always logically titled and b.) that's the reason there are several different areas on this site for different subjects so why not another one?

    What do you guys think?

I think it would be a great idea, but maybe if we made that forum then people might not look in there knowing most of the posts would be like, "help me get toned" and such.

I think that half of the threads in this forum are asking for input on routines. I'd say that routines fall into the categories of bodybuilding, fitness, powerlifting and olympic lifting pretty well and there's no need for a separate forum for it.

That's why there isn't a separate forum for it.

    Squats work better than supplements.
"You know, if I thought like that, I'd never put more than one plate on the bar for anything, I'd never use bands or chains, I'd never squat to parallel or below, and I'd never let out the slightest grunt when I lift. At some point in your lifting career (assuming you're planning on getting reasonably strong and big), you're going to have to accept that most people think you are some kind of freak." -Sensei
"You're wrong, and I have a completely irrelevant pubmed abstract that may or may not say so." - Belial
