The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    home gym question.

i have a home gym and want to paint it a different color. Right now it's white.
what color do you suggest? I read somewhere red acts as stimulant. Should i go red or would that make the room look really small???

Also should i keep carpet or replace with rubber matting???
those who has home gym help me out....

If you had rubber matting could you drop say 100lb dumbells on the floor without cracking the concrete? If so, then that would be cool I think.

Maybe a good idea is to put some posters up of stuff that inspires you to workout. Maybe posters of girls if that is what motivates you, or maybe a big poster of arnold, etc.

You could also get some mirrors maybe, those are really helpful.

As for the color I don't know. Right now mine is white.

The rubber matting would be idential to the ones in the gym. So i am assuming it would be fine, not destroying the concrete.

As for posters, i will add some mirrors, arnold's pose in frame and a few hotties to keep me kewl....

i am going to pick up red color sample in 10 minutes.

    anyone else has any inputs.

For rubber matting, I'd recommend Gorilla mats. I've got a couple and they're solid, and they were pretty inexpensive. They smell, but I've been told that will dissipate with time.
I've actually still put carpet on top of the mats, but I'm crazy.
